Press Release by btarunrDiscuss (13 Comments)
CORSAIR, a world leader in PC gaming peripherals and enthusiast components, today announced the addition of 32 GB modules to its range of VENGEANCE LPX high-performance DDR4 memory, allowing PC builders to equip their systems with more DDR4 memory than ever before. VENGEANCE LPX has long been a premiere choice for custom PC builders looking for high frequencies and ambitious overclocks, and that tradition continues with the launch of 32 GB modules - the first time that such a capacity of premium DRAM has been made widely available to consumers in a standard size DDR4 module.
The new modules feature the same craftsmanship and quality that CORSAIR customers expect from the VENGEANCE LPX name. Thoroughly tested for wide compatibility with most current DDR4 motherboards, designed for high-performance overclocking with a pure aluminium heatspreader, and available in multiple colors to match your system's look, VENGEANCE LPX 32 GB DDR4 modules set the standard for enthusiast memory. Launching in frequencies of 2,400 MHz and 2,666 MHz in kits of 1x, 2x,4x and 8x modules, or 3,000 MHz in kits of 1x and 2x modules, you'll be sure to find a configuration to fit your custom PC and take its memory capacity up to 128 GB on mainstream 4-DIMM slot, and up to 256 GB on high-end desktop 8-DIMM slot motherboards.Today CORSAIR also launches its new TUF Gaming VENGEANCE R GB PRO DDR4 memory in 16 GB kits (8MBx2). CORSAIR is proud to be a partner in the ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance, with premium R GB memory sporting the signature TUF Gaming aesthetic, guaranteed for compatibility with any TUF Gaming motherboard.
In addition, all CORSAIR R GB DDR4 memory is now compatible with ASUS Aura Sync R GB motherboard control. Using an easy-to-install Aura Sync plugin alongside CORSAIR iCUE software, users are now free to choose whether to control their R GB memory's lighting through ASUS Aura Sync, or CORSAIR iCUE software.

16 Gb Ram Card

YES!

Okay folks, I've been away from the Ars Forums for a long time but I've done my first new build in a while and I'm stuck.
MB = ASUS M5A97 EVO (Bios updated to 1208)
CPU = AMD FX-8150
RAM = 4 x Kingston KVR1333D3/4GR PC3-10600
OS = Win7 Home Premium 64-bit
Here is my problem, once I get over 8GB of ram, the bios doesn't seem to use it. It recognizes it and recognizes that there are four identical modules in the slots, but it doesn't want to use the second module in each bank. So right now Windows says 'Installed Memory (RAM): 16.0 GB (7.95 GB usable)'.
I have:
1) Checked my CPU pins and reseated
2) Cleared my CMOS (a bunch of times)
3) Returned the first 16GB of RAM I bought to the store (still 4GB but they were 1600's)
4) Checked my memory (on the first set)
5) Not overclocked
6) Consulted Sailor Jerry (about a half-bottle thereof)
7) Moved my RAM around to these results:
i) One 4GB module in DIMM_A2 = BIOS 4GB/Win7 4GB
ii) One 4GB module in DIMM_A2 & DIMM_B2 = BIOS 4GB/Win7 8GB (4 usable)
iii) One 4GB module in DIMM_A2 & DIMM_A1 = BIOS 8GB/Win7 8GB
iv) One 4GB module in DIMM_A2, DIMM_A1 & DIMM_B2 = BIOS 8GB/Win7 12GB (7.95 usable)
v) One 4GB module in DIMM_A2, DIMM_A1, DIMM_B1 & DIMM_B2 = BIOS 8GB/Win7 16GB (7.95 usable)
I have seen a lot of similar reports of half memory being usable, but not solutions that I can see. Help..
